Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as an HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting weekly safety training meetings across multiple facilities, implementing measures to prevent accidents, and investigating/ reporting accidents to regulatory bodies such as OSHA. Additionally, you will play a key role in filling out customer forms to ISN and other reporting services.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly safety training meetings at various facilities to educate employees on best practices and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety procedures and policies.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, analyze root causes, and prepare detailed reports for regulatory compliance.
  • Complete and submit necessary documentation to regulatory and reporting agencies such as OSHA and ISN.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of HSE training materials and resources.
  • Actively participate in safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to enhance workplace safety and environmental sustainability.
  • Foster a culture of safety awareness and compliance throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Previous HSE experience preferred.
  • Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; relevant internship or co-op experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance standards (OSHA, ISN, etc.).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing safety concerns.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Participate in on-going HSE related training.
  • Willing to Travel
